i was thinking about this, those closed threads look so ugly and are annoying.
but i dont think its a real good idea
Yeah
Move them if you can:p
or ask Dave or Liz
i dont know if GMods and admins think its a good idea. we gotta ask them
cant they be moved to deleted treads section?
No.
The Archive section is as the Title says ; An Archive, Where we keep crap / threads that finally got Soft-Deleted, So they don't take space and looks ugly for us, And so we can keep track of people that made mistakes in the past, Thingies like that,
Moving closed threads to this Archive would take space and be kinda useless.
Just post in other threads, And the Closed ones will fall in the forgotten pages fast enough =)
My Opinion~
Actually, I agree with melodia.
Another reason to not move deleted threads in the archive is that some ppl that want to post about the same thing wouldnt know it has been posted before and closed.
Example: Threads where ppl ask for cd keys and others who post outside link to sites which sell them.
New members of MPGH can learn from closed threads.
Dostogg, nice that you try to improve the CoD section, thanked you because of that.
What about a Closed Thread's sub forum?
The info van be "Chioobs you can learn from posts here"
:p
''Cod Section Education''
Description: Closed threads aren't useless.
(Useless threads aren't useless)
:p
Closed threads are kept in the section for a reason, deleted threads have no use whatsoever so they get moved to archives, just it in case one of them ever needs to get pulled, and even if the thread is deleted it still shows in google results, thus giving us more traffic, and members.
^ your answer has been given = no.
Thread closed (one closed thread more in this section :D)
To dostogg: Still thanks that you tried to improve the CoD section.
