I had a banned VAC account.
When it was announced that the new feature of VAC Chaos would be able to bybass the VAC ban, I waited for it's release. However, it did bybass the 'cheat detected' message and allowed me to go ingame and play private matches, but public matches were still impossible. So I ended up bying a new cdkey.
Has this changed in the meantime then, master131? or do you only play private matches?

Sorry for 're-opening', but what Archangel said is untrue.
On my banned account, I've been using that program before to bypass it. Now I'm using SteamLoader and I keep trying to join my friends party. Sometimes it'll join after a few times, sometimes it takes up to 30 minutes.
Anyway, combined with legends as HOUSE to Force Host, it's possible to play online. Console keeps saying it wants to kick me, but it's unable because I'm the host. Game also prints text messages in-game as "Cheat Detected".
Stupid part: I'm beeing kicked sometimes after a while and a new host is been picked.
Edit: just played again, but I wasn't host. So it took 10 secs to kick me.
sry for bump also, but You can still host public games, but no one that isnt in your friends list wont join you...so yes it is Possible, but you cant host "public" games
That is correct. But what I'm trying (and what works sometimes) is that I'm joining my friends game, before the host is picked. Then I quickly hit the 'Force Host'-button and I start praying.Quote:
