[SOLVED]modding private servers on pc

so i was wondering, i seen somewhere online that if you get caught modding public you will get banned from play public matches. so does that mean that i can mod private matches and not worry about being banned or can i be banned for modding private matches as well

Playing with mods in public match could get you banned as well
