It was working awesome a few days ago but then it just lags like hell when I record. It gets me down to like 15 fps. Is there a reason for this?

Don't know the reason why, but you can fix this by record on a external device ;)

Makes most people lag if they don't have a good computer. I suggest getting a new one if you serious about this whole frasping & video making thing. Or just getting a new graphics card that is 10x better then the one you currently have.
Or using a new recording tool, like CamStudio.
Sometimes the computer get old /gewd
Can be ur graphic card, RAM etc..
But ever when i format my computer everything get better!

Try other programs, for example, Hypercam, Camtasia etc.
Fraps would use your computer's perfromance rate to record. It would probably depend on your seetings and your computer. So I suggest you get a new one, or upgrade time :D

Fraps consumes alot of your computers gaming performance so you may need a few upgrades. Tell us your specs.
