Game crashes while finding pointers

Every time i attempt to find pointers in CE, Combat Arms crashes. It always happens after i get an address and click 'Find out what writes to this address'. The 2 small windows pop up when i click it (debugging windows) , but when i attempt to go back into the game to change the value of the address, the game crashes (when i click on it in task bar the screen turns black and game closes). I used the search button and Google, but found nothing. I can't figure this out, so i figured asking here would be the best solution. Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

your debugger is detected, are you bypassed even slightly?

Yes, i have tried using 2 bypasses, one from MPGH (the one that is stickied currently) and another from another site, which is also up-to-date.

i have a solution. find another pointer. and if you dont find. deal with it.

those 2 small windows shouldnt pop up - thats your problem.

ok, sounds like my best bet, I'll try a few things and see if anything works

EDIT:Alright.... i tried a few different things, and i tried to use MHS instead of CE, and the game is still crashing... I'll check back later tomorrow to see if anyone else has any ideas.
