[Tut visual basics 2008] How to make a Password protection (for beginners)

Insipired by M60 and djonidjo.
Alright START Visual Basics 2008,
Press File > New Project
Fill in a desired (=wanted) project name.
Mine Will be: PassProtect
On the left of the screen you should see a Toolbox with all kinds of stuff.
Picture Insrutions:
Select the TextBox from the toolbox and select a place on your form while holding the mouse, now let go of the mouse and tada you have a textbox.
Click on the litle picture to enlarge it.

Now Double click it and type this:

TextBox1.passwordchar = ("*")
Explaination:
TextBox1. tells the console to use a function of TextBox1
.Passwordchar means to use the function Passwordchar
=("*") gives the value of passwordchar * as a string, withouth the "" the star would mean X like (example) 1X3 = 6 thats for calulating we don't want that.
Add a button from the ToolBox
Do the same as with the textbox only size it less wide.
Make sure the button is selected and look at the bottom left of the screen,
you should see a property's box, look for Text and change it to OK
The Text of a button is what it shows on the button.

Double Click the button and insert this:

If TextBox1.Text = "Disired Password" Then
' This means if TextBox1.text has the correct password (change it) it does
' somthing, in this case it will tell you a msg.
MsgBox("Correct Password!")
Else 'this means if the text in textbox1 is not Equal (=) to "Disired Password" then do following. In this case it's a message
MsgBox("Invalid Password! Please try again.")
End If
When you've copied this to the button the green text will give you more information,
btw: you make this 'green text' by adding ' before the text. This is what I call a note.
Now your done!
Press F5 to run it (in debug mode wich will tell you if there are any errors in the program when executing a command).
To save it press File > Save all.
To build (first need to save!) press Build > Build PassProtect
You will find the .exe at your Documents then Visual Studio 2008 > Projects >
PassProtect > Bin > Release > PassProtect.exe
(You have to Build it before the .exe will be at that location).
You can download the Source below, open it with VB2008.
