How do you make an ijji account without Facebook?

I hate having to make new Facebook accounts just so I can create a new AVA account. Is there any way I could make an new account like the old ijji accounts?
I checked everywhere on the website and it seems as if they removed it and replaced it with the Facebook login.

I dont think you can make an ijji account. Only old existing ones you can log in. Probably due to abuse in the past.

If you make a new Steam account and launch AVA from there, you will be able to make an account without Facebook.
