What do you think?
Hey guys, I'm trying to get back into Sig/banner making, and I'm getting a lot of inspiration from the galleries and tutorials here at MPGH. What do you guys think of this sig? Keep in mind I haven't been doing a lot of work on PS lately, except for business-style websites.

I was kind of out of ideas for the text. Also, I decided to keep the render exactly as is because the brown seems to look good with the green.
-
The problem with the render on the green background is that they don't blend, they are just there.
-
Hmm, that is true. Any suggestions as to what I can do about it?
-
Either add some distracting photoshop effects, blur the edges together, or do some HD glow effect.
At first it caught my eye as awesome, but a few seconds later I realized that they didn't really blend. :\ Great otherwise! :D
-
I tried adding a layer mask to blend the two images together, but didn't really like the way it turned out =/
I'm not too sure what to do here.
EDIT:
Here it is after I added an adjustement layer to try and blend the colours a bit better. Just makes the guys look sick... lol

Thanks for being so specific.

i think you still havent blossomed in photoshop, you havent realised your flow yet
you still think green abstract brushes and slapping a brown render in is cool
and renders like taht suck, not enough detail for a good sig
but keep going, youll make your own style and then youll be right

Thanks for that standoff. Like I said before, this definatly isn't my area. I mainly do Website Design, which is much different.
I guess I'm going to have to keep reading tutorials, so I can find my own little style.

Sorry for the double post, but here's another stab I took at a brush + render sig. You guys may not like it, but I'm learning, and I'm happy :)

better , but still a little stale
just keep going, find a few tuts on like filling in your sig with more stuff, iloveps.com is a good site, or pslover.com i forget which is the tut site
-
Any recommendations as to what I can "fill my sig up with?" Also, the site is pslover.com. I've always used good-tutorials.com, I actually have a couple tutorials I've made up there. Obviously they aren't for sig making though.
Thanks again for the suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Its alright but... the render colour dont go with the Background...

the first one needs to be blended a little more..the second one is pretty cool though
