Have a Minecon Cape URL - Should I sell it?

So recently my dad (38) and my brother (11) went to Minecon. My brother said that because Dad wasn't using his Minecon cape code on his account, I could redeem it on an account of my choosing, however I do not play Minecraft, nor do I intend to xD

I have seen them on sale for $100+ on Ebay? If this is true, then I would very much like to sell it. So, should I sell it? It's not like I have any other use for it...

Please give me some guidance on this, as I'm kinda new to Minecraft, and don't know the value of it :P
