First ever userbar [self made =o]

I was talking to blackpkerstr lol.

The gloss effect is slightly overused, so I tend just not to notice it.

Mine's not going across the whole thing. If that makes a difference.

Now that I am really focusing on the gloss. It seems very inconsistently placed =/. Unless that was the purpose.

Lol thanks for the advice. I know it REALLY sucks. Any other tips?
BTW: the background was a lot better untill I added another layer of slight tweaks and I never noticed it until I had to get off the comp.
The blur was mainly because I minimized the render because it didn't fit and the edges became slightly "pixelized" so I just covered them with blur. :(
