The spear actually kinda sucks though.
The "unstableness" doesn't even reach into the negatives like the Flying Bacon Mace.

That's, like, the entire POINT of having super unstable weapons. You have the chance to do more damage than the +51% NSoD(especially if it crits) but also have the chance to heal your enemies instead. You can damage yourself too if you get a negative heal.
