It proves simplicity and an attempt at BSG's style?
I...... Love......IT!
It helped me :)
Good tut, imma try this type of technic, not the same, but this type on my next siggy...it's a stalker sig, well, another one :X....but ya gonna try this and try some C4D's and see how it goes. Thanks :)
Much better than anything i can do :T
@Ryguy: ROFL!
Others: Glad I helped you guys out. ^.^ I shall be coming out with a new kind of Tut.
Here we goes, tried this technic, cept with 5 duplicate layers, and around 2o somethin layers all together, bout 20 mins....is very basic, but was trying the smudge technic of this tut...

Hmm, your improving but try not to smudge the renders face. Use a thin plain black border, it looks better and more "professional". Don't use bevel or outer glow on the text either, make the shadow on text smaller. Overall your definitely improving.
aight, ya my next one is a final fantasy based project, so I'll take the advice I've been givin and put it to good use :)
Hey Sarge, Your smudging different. lol I had the same problem. When having the Smudge tool equipped, press F5 and turn on "Shape Dynamics", "Scattering", and "Other Dynamics".
Maybe that will help.
aight, will try that on my next siggy.
yep... that way it wont make any ugly streaks
Ya did that on my newest sig, and it blended a lot better, lol...no more streaks, which is goood.
good work I don't think you were actually making a sig as such just showing people how to smudge so @ ppl like ryguy stop with the criticism -.-
