If you ask me, I'd go for FN57 or Berreta M93Ra. NOW, if you are going to spend LOTS of AP's, I suggest you to do the new tiered spender "Snowdrift". On 6th Tier(23988 APs), you get one of these guns:
M1A1 Thompson (Permanent)
+
Auto 9 (Permanent)
+
Euro Plus (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
+
Iyan Gear Set 6in1 (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
OR
M1 Garand (Permanent)
+
Auto 9 (Permanent)
+
Euro Plus (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)

Iyan Gear Set 6in1 (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
OR
Mosin Nagant (Permanent)
+
Auto 9 (Permanent)
+
Euro Plus (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
+
Iyan Gear Set 6in1 (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
OR
FG42 (Permanent)

Auto 9 (Permanent)

Iyan Gear Set 6in1 (30 Days/Tage/Jours/Días)
Hope this was helpful./gewd
"IF" he spends a lot of AP. I doubt he would, but that's anyone's decision. I personally do not like spending that much on a single game. Though I will say I have spend a lot on buying multiple game titles.
For pistols, I only try going for ones that has a quick draw speed. Pistols should only be used if in a dire situation where you cannot reload your primary in time for a quick shot. However, in a secondary-only game (aka pistol only), you could go with some o the pistols listed before.
I don't spend much AP. I have a permanent Beretta Barbatos. I would rephrase the question as best secondary. I don't mind the switch speed as long as it isn't too slow. I am thinking of getting a Luger P-08 or M93Ra or FN57.
mosin if u want to buy caps. I have frf2 noel so I use that. Since aeria doesnt sell the noel weapons anymore I feel special using it :3
Out of all the secondaries mentioned and my preferences, I have given a rating:
1. Luger P-08:Quote:
Difficulty: A rating of how difficult the bloom and recoil is to control and how hard it is to land bullets on the enemy.
1) Very Easy. These pistols have almost no recoil and no bloom.
2) Easy. These pistols have a little recoil/bloom, but it isn't troublesome at close range.
3) Moderate. These pistols need to be tapped quickly or bursted in a certain way or the crosshairs may become unmanageable.
4) Difficult. These pistols start to have a lot of recoil and bloom, making skill a must.
5) Extreme. Wait, pistols can be extreme? hahaha
Pistolness: A rating of how well it functions as a pistol. Several factors may be range, damage, draw speed, ROF, accuracy, and simple all-around viability.
1) Terrible. These pistols lack the essential functions of a pistol.
2) Bad. These pistols are not the best pistols.
3) Decent. They may be decent pistols, but some aspect of it will limits its ability.
4) Great. These types are among the most useful pistols because they are well rounded and have few weaknesses.
5) Beretta. Enough said.
Difficulty: Very Easy
Pistolness: Great
It is very good at getting kills. It has a high DPS, decent switch speed and good rate of fire.
2. FN57:
Difficulty: Moderate
Pistolness: Decent
This is a really good weapon. I would go with the Beretta over this however this is still very good and depends on personal preference.
3. Beretta 92FS (I have a Barbatos):
Difficulty: Easy
Pistolness: Beretta
The DPS is slightly subpar so it requires tapping. However, this is an amazing pistol with POTENTIAL!
*From this point, I became lazy because the pistols below are not as good as the ones above.
4. M93Ra: It has a very good rate of fire but can get quite unstable after several shots.
5. Python 357: The kick on that gun is crazy. I need to be able to get a shot on someone.
6. AUTO 9: Meh.
For the snipers, I have rated them
FR-F2 > Mosin Nagant/Zaytsev Custom
The best free sniper is a PGM .338. Mosin is best for everything but a FR-F2 can be used for more medium-long range than short-medium range.
I will probably end up making a gun review thread.
I just looked through trainer772's post on the Aeria forums, checked out the wiki and saw gameplay. That's about it. It isn't really research but it will do. I'm not going to individually test each gun that exists... I have other stuff to do.
FRF2 = op shet > PGM > mosin
Firebird is nice too
