I got another one:

For any of use Germans like Blubb and maybe some others, I think this little nickname for McDonald's is a lil bit of a LOLer: McDoof. Fitting, isn't it?


It always saddens me when I see people here in the 'States flock to McDonalds like flies. Most of them are on the pverweight side, and stuff themselves up with the unnutritious stuff. I'm not saying its bad tasting, but it is addicting for people who crave the taste and the cheap price. And then they can't hold themselves back form visiting that place again, and put on the pounds.

I go to McDonalds about once a month, and I enjoy it. It is just that people abuse this restaurant, and what it gives, because the food is done quickly and tastes good, at the cost of healthiness.

Anyway, that was way off topic, but I just wanted to get these thoughts off my mind.

Zero to None, read the official VAC statement, it says custom skins dont trigger VAC bans.

I don't think this is VAC Bannable at all.
It says so in the Steam rules. That texture modifying is allowed and not banned for by VAC

Where do I put the RPG one at? There's no direction for it. Just the file.

Autoinstaller works on XP right? Friend is getting a "cannoet delete file" error

I'm using winrar absolutely no problems, it worked like a charm, went ingame and everything is what i chose it to be :D thanks alot!

lol, you peep must be low on ram, try 12 gigs, :D. an ssd to make it go faster, and a 4.2Ghz i7 to process it all

Well, maybe WinRAR is a crybaby. 7-zip is free and much better anyhow.

As for all of you who promised that they put the files in the correct place and still get the error: "Files different from server.", well you all lied.
Restore the backups and try again, and this time pay attention.

funny how people said they do shit right, but they get error, i think the game is just messing with them

Excellent work on the installer flame man, and nice skins by the rest of the team. For those of you who understand how to do the manual install I recommend doing that, It will save you at least 5-10 minutes. I haven't noticed many differences in this version beside the new skins and auto installer. None the less, I cant judge as I'm just a consumer. Peace and love. :rolleyes:

Another thing: Is there a way, for example, removing weather effects, and hud WITHOUT changing team colors (leavign them default) with the auto installer?

i dont think so, but u can do that manuallly

Hey, not sure about that error message, dont know how to help with that. However, unless there is something I'm not seeing with the installer, it looks impossible to change just the weather and other things without changing the team colors. You can do everything manually though like on 1.5. Thats what I would recommend meow.

Awesome job guys, this is very cool. I found though that the auto installer was super slow.. I gave up on it and put the old files in then did it all manually.. But I guess if you dont know how to put them in manually.. The auto installer is a lot better than not having the texture mod at all.

Question.. Maybe I missed it.. But did you guys put in transparent walls? I read a thread somewhere saying it.. But not sure.

Anyways Thanks a bunch for this, its amazing
