I don't think they are banned for 16 year olds.
It's more of a recommendation not to sell, because loads of newsagents still can and do.
To be honest though it's not that bad for kids to have energy drinks imo.
I mean you would want a kid to drink water only, but Coke,Pepsi and"fruit juices" are still pumped full of loads of sugar and caffeine.
lucozade or monster once in a while :)
dont personally like them but why ban them if you dont like them just dont drink them :D
Against. Not healthy at all , too much sugar and strange ingredients in some of them.
Sugar free monster energy drinks, one a day, can't beat it
I like them. But I really drink them for the taste - energy wise they really don't do anything for me, idk... maybe too much?
Thing is, coffee immediately helps me.
i don't drink energy drinks it makes my teeth feel pain :(
I got hooked on Monster energy drinks, was drinking baout 4-6 cans a day, had to wean myself off them, the headaches and Nausea was unreal but after it i haven't had one since Jan 1st this year.
only coffee if constipated. that's the only caffeine i drink.
I personally only drink them when I know i'm going to be needing more energy. Like for a big job or staying up to get work done.
Question is simple. NO.
Energy drinks are amazing if you need that quick boost of energy to stay awake. Most people drink it just for the taste or when they're actually not tired. When you're really tired, a monster or redbull can give you the boost you need, especially when you have work that needs to be done.
I generally try not to have energy drinks or caffeine in my system. For people like me who don't drink it everyday, it keeps me up at night, preventing me from falling asleep. Makes me feel like a zombie, I'm tired and brain dead yet I can't fall asleep...
Like what some other people have mentioned, if you don't need to stay up at night for your job/school, sleep at least 7-8 hours a day, and stay adequately hydrated, you don't really need the energy drink.
