Please state your opinion ( without religion or without religion quotes ).
I personally think life is going to end by the next 100 million year.
Causes: heat, global worming, hunger, toxicity, poisoning, all gathered at once.
I think before life ends, all countries going to be like Africa, suffering from hunger, heat, diseases, etc.
So how do you expect the end of the world?
Either a huge ass war or a really bad natural disaster. One way or another we're going to be our own demise.
Some really smart scientist in the US is going to build a nuke that can destroy the world. The Muslims are going to steal it and blow up the world.

in around 4ish billion years the sun will expand as it reaches the end of its life cycle and will incinerate the earth in the process,either that or WR 104 will fry earth
I believe the world will end with these ever-expanding aggressive powers of the world ending in a big clash, whether it be nuclear or otherwise.
I think it's highly likely that a massive nuclear war would basically end the world or just extinct most species in the world.
However an argument could be made that the probable outcome of a nuclear war is not enough to completely destroy planet earth.
After all, our planet was just a big ball of lava long ago.

By the definition of "end" it will end by natural means. By this I mean our sun's expansion and eventual collapse. If you mean the human population, it won't. We will eventually find a way to colonize space and move onto other worlds.
One way, that is slowly fading from existing at the moment is an economic collapse. I think that it could happen, but we are getting everythign together. Also, something else is a war. N. Korea, Taliban, ETC.
I'd say that humanity will get into a war with itself, whether it's religious or political... Humanity will die.
If the planed doesnt die in the meanwhile, then I dunno...
The world is either going to end by a big war Or the earth is going to suffer a natural catastrophe/Disaster, Or we will just run out of necessary materials that make us live(plants->Oxygen for example)

Atomic Warfare (World War III), will most certainly be the end. Hopefully not in our lifetimes.

The earth shifting poles is nothing recent, I have been thought that last year in 10th grade Geology, it's pretty violent event and happens 3-4 times ever 100 million years (not sure about this period). What happens is that the external core inverts it's rotation movement for unknown reasons. This cause extremely violent eruptions. That's all I know about polar invertions.Quote:
