MODEL modifications are patched as of right now. To use model mods, you'd have to know a bypass; there are no public bypasses yet.
HOW TO INJECT:
The default destination of your Combat Arms folder should be "C:\Nexon\Combat Arms"; this guide will be based off the assumption that you did not change it. Additionally, this will only cover texture modifications as models have been patched.
Download the mod you would like to use. Extract the file using 7-zip or winrar.
In the red section, click the "..." When the popup appears, you want to select the .REZ file in "C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game". A detailed look at exactly where to inject is featured below.
In the blue section, click the "add" button. When the popup appears, you want to find and select the .dtx file extracted in step 1.
When you've completed the above, click the "inject" button at the bottom. Wait until a popup saying "injection complete" appears.
Close rezinject.
Open up "C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game". Move or delete the old "[name or rez].REZ" file.
Find the file "[name of rez].REZNEW". Rename the file extension to .REZ
Open up Combat Arms.
WHERE TO INJECT:
In case you haven't noticed, "C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game" contains more than one .REZ file. To know which file to inject your .dtx file into, pay attention:
Most texture mods are for guns. Therefore, most of the .REZ files being dealt with are "GUNS_[M/SND/T]_PV_[GUNTYPE]".
M contains MODELS, SND contains SOUNDS, T contains textures. Therefore, you want to inject into GUNS_T_PV_[GUNTYPE].
There are many different gun types. If you don't understand the acronyms, click on the spoiler below.
AR = Assault Rifles (e.g. M416, G36E)
ETC. = Spec Weapons (e.g. First Aid Kit, Satellite Scanner}
