Anyway, if anyone is having trouble renaming the file, make sure you have "Hide known file extensions" turned off in Windows. Without that turned off, Windows will not let you alter file extensions.

What the guy above has just said is exactly true, there isn't a way I can show you the blur not being there, you would just think that it's me playing normally as the blur is non-existent. The only way I could show you is through a video or GIF but that's too much hassle to setup for a simple config file.

An ESP injects information directly into the EXE file. That is direct game code, not configuration files.
Look at a source engine game for example and the amount of configuration options you have with that.
