Digital secret santa... a possibility? would you take part? please read on.

hey general;

before i start this post, i don't expect this to gain any traction, and its just an idea for this community.

i was thinking that we should do some sort of digital secret Santa, where we start a thread in general, and we have one person running the whole shit,
who will draw names by hand for you. so if you wanted to take part, you would have to give a $10.00 deposit to a trusted member, and then you would spend $10.00 on the person you receive.

the way we would do this is you would comment on the general post saying what you want, and once you received a PM on who you had, you would go and steam gift this to the person on Christmas day. the whole point of the $10.00 deposit is if you fail to buy a present for someone, they would receive the $10.00 credit.

if anyone was interested in this, i would be interested as well

let me know, because if we have enough people to do this, it would be really cool

my idea for the restrictions (pretty stupid):
