Played a good few hours of the alpha its only fun with friends really

Game's overrated, it gets boring hella fast, maps are too small, only like 3 monsters
and they've already said "the game is made from the bottom up for DLC"

I've always wanted Evolve. My friend got an email saying they got into beta testing of it T.T

This game fucking screams "money-grab"

I mean, it barely has any content. These developers built on a simple concept and added slightly better than mediocre graphics. I can have more fun in any CS:GO match than in any online match in Evolve.

Yea people don't seem to realize how fucking difficult it is to actually get the right game for a game night. I remember arguing with Dave and Matt over how fucking indecisive game night choices can be. Based on how people actually agree with what game the group should play it ends up something like this:
It should be free
It should somehow encompass 3 gaming genres at once (RPG, FPS, misc)
It should allow for a nearly infinite amount of players to play with
It should also be somehow relevant and by that I mean made in the last 3 years.
It should involve some way to fuck over everybody else in the group
It should not require a hefty download (be aware apparently the people who try and decides the groups game use burger king internet so basically anything above 3gb is gonna get a no)
Last but not least it should on steam.
Evolve barely covers any of those checklists.

Probably should of had a gaming night based on hardline beta that happened this weekend imo.
