Hello All,
For quite some time now i have been working on a side project that is well and truly out of my comfort zone. It has been some-what 16 weeks of an ever so stressful but surprisingly fun experience that i plan to do all over again.
I introduce to you my new Application for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch called E-Junk Blaster.
E-Junk Blaster is your last line of defense but without the nagging notifications that enables the user to check their inboxes at their own free will.
E-Junk blaster only checks your inbox for unopened spam/junk that slips through the safety net of your mail client hence why we call it your last line of defense.
Not only can you check for Junk & Spam, the App will give you the option, to Keep It, Blast It or Block it all in just a tap of your screen and you can then say goodbye to Spam for good without the burden of setting your own rules.
The App caters for 7 of the following platforms/domains:
1. GMAIL
2. Yahoo (Coming Soon!)
3. Live
4. Hotmail
5. Outlook
6. Yandex
7. AOL
E-Junk Blaster has a premium edition to enhance your experience. The premium cost assigned by Apple is $2.49 AUD (one time payment only) that will enable the following features:
Add multiple accounts at once, you can manage more than one email in any of the 7 provided platforms (stated above).
Eliminated Un-wanted advertisements.
Enable the ever so popular BLOCK feature. This is ideal to get the full experience out of the App.

The App is very user friendly & designed with the idea of keeping a colorful upbeat theme. So please spread the word to friends and family!
Have a great week & thanks for reading.
Kind Regards
Richard

Yes, it targets what the already in-place filters on your mail clients miss out on. Hence i put the slogan on the splash screen to read "Your last line of defence against unwanted junk mail" haha thanks for responding to post much appreciated btw.
Congratulations man! H

Hey, I like the design. The Live logo doesn't really go with the rest though, have you tried finding one that's a plain white like the others?
Looks cool, I'll check it out and contrats

Thank you heaps man yeah i had a massive convo with one of my fellow developers regarding the design, we could not at all find a Live logo suited, we had to make do as we were pushing for a little time to release the final result. I am still lookin to make little changes. The thing that holds up the process is that Aple take 10 days to even look at your version updates let alone another 24 hours to action the review process .... **SIGH* LOL but great eye, your the first to comment and pick up the Live logo issue. Thanks again man, that live logo change is most certainly on the cards!

Thanks heaps man! hope you enjoy, i apologies in advance if it does not meet certain standards as such, im really surprised you guys like it, i doubted it for a bit haha, it's my very first application ever! haha & yes in roughly 6 months if all goes well on the iOS market, it will continue onto Android Thank you again!

Thanks mate glad you like the idea Yes in the long run if all goes well on iOS i will port it out to Android & so on. I received the same question from my brother when he asked about iPhone screen size, iPad & iPod touch which is a bit smaller than the phone. I had to refer to Apple Developer portal which gave me the sizes of each screen then got the design art work done according to screen/pixel size of the device we were doing at the time. I have however already spoken to my design guy who helped me with it and we have the dimensions already ready to go for the android market so it will be a smooth transition/expansion for us when we go to Android

Thanks man much appreciated, i really want it to get to Android i think it might do very well there. Well the Apps database for junk, spam, bad domain, bad IP & bad keyword identifiers are all on a Virtual Private Server which can be updated while the App is live. The next time the user reboots the App it silently obtains the new filters i put down. My team & i are always adding more and more identifiers to flag up to date junk mail & subscribers every couple of hours. It's actually an interesting yet fun process.
Great question you asked though, thank you for asking
The App was done in the Apple Development tools that we get given when we pay our annual sign up.
These are the main programs used.
1. Authentication is in oauth2 mechanism
2. Back end of the App is developed in C# using client socket programming
3. SQL Server 2012 for junk identifiers etc
That's pretty much all that has been used
