Correct me if I'm wrong but, if i remember right. Isis started a civil war in the name of "God" which has caught the attention of the US government. Since then the US has invaded the warzones without any consent or help from the Syrian Intelligence troops. Which has led to many accidental bombings like the hospital from some weeks ago.

Since US had a hard time against Isis Russia decided to hasten the extermination by asking if cooperation would be possible from the Syrian government, on which they agreed.

I still do wonder why US keeps blaming Russia though. There is no action without a reason.

My guess would be money. The middle-east has high amounts of resources like oil and I guess that after or perhaps at the time of war they would try to get the oil.
But wouldn't want to share it or let the people know.

Now I actually start to realize that Russia isn't as bad as I thought they were (even though I still live next by door to Russia makes me worried cos look how HUGE they are), Russia least asks for permission but what US Government did, went there without it.

Most countries are backed in the UN.
Even Russia wouldn't dare to even go against it because most of the countries would easily switch to defend one another.
America has been part of NATO. Russia disbanded warsaw a long time ago.
In order for it to even consider a world war, it has to involve almost every nation of the world. This would probably be named Cold War part 2 more than anything else.
