I'd get a Razer. I don't need to game on any laptop, as I have a desktop for that. The build quality is pretty good, and now with the Razer core I could always plop an extra 980ti in it if I really wanted to game. Granted it's not my number one choice, but with my life style it's a pretty good fit, and it's not the worst. Plus isn't the base model new surface book around 1600 with a 970? You can get more power for that price, because you're basically paying a premium for brand/thinness. It's like the macbook of pcs. Doesn't necessarily mean it's the best, but there are advantages and downfalls

Edit: holy shit, I was mistaken. It's 2k. Jesus that's really expensive for a 970 and 256gb ssd :/

That razer laptop doesn't come with anything good but integrated graphics. I mean, i'm only assuming he wants to game on a laptop as he's looking at a laptop that is looking good for gaming wise? that razer may look good but it's not gonna run any games smooth.

Idk if mine was faulty? i did own a pair of chromas headset, had it on a hook on my wall and it fell off and snapped. Shits cheap plastic and therefore guess what? i can judge razer any way i want cause i owned a "high quality" product. those bitches also twist like a fucker. All of there mouses are ugly as fuck to. Keyboards, cheap plastic. That computer, has more quality over performance.

The new MacBooks are nice ass fuck and they are good for videos. A lot of youtubers have them for editing. Not all. As the guy said above, he said he wants to for traveling and gaming to, that razer product isn't going to get you far into gaming. I'm not even gonna argue someone against razer products. Or any product because if one shits on there product, they feel like shit and will just keep throwing little useless shit back to make it sound reasonable. Razer= trash. And all because he said he's mainly gonna use his PS4 for gaming means he won't ever end up using it for gaming? When I built my gaming PC I wanted to keep everything only game related. Lol. I know someone who's razer melted while gaming. He had pics and it was ugly.
I'm on mobile so I cba to write my argument on Mac so I'll concede for now.

I have been using razer products for 5 years now( had razer electra , hammerhead, naga Epic, Blackwidow TE chroma and adaro wireless) and i am satisfied. if you don't value your things well you will have bad impression for their product. I've been using my blade for 2 and a half years now. still working smoothly, game or school stuff.
