If you've played COD 4 you'll know what I'm talking about. If not, Google it. The level "All Ghillied Up" from the original COD MW is a great example of what FPS camouflage should look like. Now you're probably thinking what's your point or shut the fuck up noob.

Answer this: Have you ever failed to kill someone because of the camouflage they were wearing, natural or artificial obstacles, weapon concealment, etc?

No, right? Thought so. Why? If your cursor hovers anywhere even remotely close to an enemy it lights up red like Christmas. Their position is given away. What the fuck is that garbage? Combat Arms needs to do away with that and introduce some real camouflage like ghillie suits and more diverse maps.

Bingo! I loved that level by the way. The very first time I played it I couldn't find his ass and he's asking me to get down, follow him, etc. Here I am screaming at my PC "I can't fucking find you!" LOL

But I'd love for my Arctic Wolf LE to actually give me a slight edge in Snow Valley and not just be a conversation piece for the rest of my team. Here I am trying to be still using arctic camouflage, low movement, shadows, and natural surroundings and my AW LE to stay concealed and I've got 6 noobs in a circle around me asking me to gift them.

I reckon.. Flashy red cursors get fucking annoying when your like camping in a tree. I've been shot in a tree coz of a fucking cursor redness

but if your cover in ghillie clothes or whatever people wont bother hovering to look for anyone. and yeah i loved that lvl of COD i wet my pants when i had to go under the cars surrounded by people.... jk

Oh I know. I kill plenty because of that too. Especially in Snow Valley. From one side to another the only giveaway is that fucking red cursor/tag that shows up. Assuming the people who do the same to me aren't hacking either then I've been screwed by that cursor as well.

But I usually stayed on the edge of the radioactive area and half under the pipe all the way on the right side near the bushes.

I just think as a whole the game needs to become more strategic and less about spray, spray, spray and die. I think it would be cool for a marksmen to be able to have complete concealment until he chooses to give his position away.

Valid point, but i like the red thing. Especially in snow valley, its just a way to find someone. People say i cham when all i do is run my snyper crosshair around till it strikes red. Lols, MW2 looks like a fun game, but i cbf buying / downloading. CA with the camo, that would be epic, but the gameplay changes will have a lot of updating.

There's some great copies available through torrents that are highly compressed and download in under 2 hours.

It would just open up more doors for weapon mods. Any weapon can be camouflaged. They really need to open this game up.
