There's literally no gift cards for Steam AR (the only ones cost x2 their prices). What's the point of switch to AR if the prices will be literally the same as the local region?

before yoo could send yourself gift cards via steam and add balance to your account. now you cant. this is pretty much dead unless you have a bank account from said region to put funds

Hello monch0,

I have a question. I live in germany and there a alot of games that cant be purchased in germany (adult content).

I want to buy these games and thus I have to change my account region. Since I live very close to austria It would be good to change to austria.
I tried changing my account region with a vpn, which worked but I didnt buy anything (just to check if the games are available in austria.

I tried to buy a game then with my paypal account, but it didnt work. I guess thats because my paypal account is a german account.

My question is:
1. is it possible to buy an paysafecard in austria to make my first purchase and change the region to austria.
2. since both germany and austria use € as currency, is it possible to use my paypal account afterwards again, or do I have to buy paysafecards from austria from that point on always I want to buy a game?

I would appreciate your help on this topic. I cannot find any good infos about this on the internet.

Your funds will be converted!! Also, i got a new method for adding funds. Giftcards are quite expensive.
