messenger plus routinely logs all sent and received messages by capturing a still image of your chat dialogue every few minutes and saving it. therefore, the more messages it must sort through, the more it may freeze.

I'm going on the assumption that it isn't cuz your computer is slow.
MPGH group can cause your MSN to lag after you stay in it for a couple hours, and you just have to close the MPGH chatroom, and re-open it.
