What the fuck do i do now?

So i just found out that my perents used all the installations for windows 7. So when i formatted and reinstalled yesterday i used the product key that came with the box.

And today im delighted to find out windows is inactivated so i ask my perents.

They respond how they used the product key like 2 or 3 times already.

What to do?

And Would a reinstallation CD that came with my system already be Pre-Activated?

Just google a torrent for a preactivated one, install it, disable updates, be happy.

If i have a reinstallation Cd for xp could i just use it and it would already be activated? If im using a dell xp reinstallation CD on a Different dell computer would it work?

If i wanted to install from a reinstallation cd i already have, would it be activaated already though? And dosnt it need drivers for my hardware?

no, somewhere on your computer there should be a sticker with the original activation code. On my old laptop it was on the bottom, next to the battery compartment. It was on the side of the tower (top right of the left side) on my really old dell.

But im not installing the OS (vista no sp) that came with my Dell. I wanna either install xp (other dell) or 7

EVERYTHING WILL BE DELETED, SO BACKUP.

YES, YOU'LL NEED ANOTHER COMPUTER TO DOWNLOAD THE DRIVERS.

I'm pretty sure Windows 7 comes with drivers installed to work with WiFi.
