    will my comp support this new cpu im gunna buy

    guys my comp is a Dell Inspiron 531 (32bit), and i dont know if my computer can support AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor, atm my cpu is AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3600+, and i would like to upgrade it to AMD Athlon 64 3200+. its that my cpu is old and slow.

    I believe both are AM2, but check Dell's support just in case (or give us complete system specs).

    The AMD Athlon 64 3200+ is socket 939 and the other one is AM2, It won't work your going to have to find another processor.
