Try a windows system restore, if you can't get into windows, and you have windows vista or 7 , do it from the recovery console, navigate to Windows (or system folder, usually windows) then System32 , Then Recovery, Then run
rstrui.exe. If you have XP and can not get into windows, let me know. The details are a little more complex.

If system restore is not enabled & if you didn't make a backup, then really it's a matter of how & what happened, NOTHING would cause windows to reset so windows exists & all files are gone (I mean nothing) Unless you did a Windows Restore, you may lost a few files from bad sectors, or have unreadable sectors, but never everything .

So, again , solution depends on what is actually wrong.

I'll defiantly have to agree with NG1. Windows will not up and delete all of your files for no reason, and even a bad HDD wont be able to, unless it has totally bricked. In which case you cant get into windows or anything else.

So either you AV (a shitty one) has deleted them, or a virus did, or someone accidentally did it.

Also, you found a "file un-deleter"??? There is only one program that I know of that can recover deleted files after they have been deleted from the trash can, and all others I have found are scams, or viruses. Or some elite program that you wouldnt be able to get your hands on unless you really tried. So I would defiantly be cautious about whatever it is you downloaded and let search your HDD.

Its most probably a virus. If system restore doesn't work, then just reinstall windows. Another idea is to use a file explorer where you can view all files, then just copy it and reinstall Windows 7

Ok thanks @NextGen1 and yeah I have XP shut the fuck up noobs I'm not deleting my System32 folder.. As I said before I'm 12.. BUT I'm not a dumass and probably know computers more than SOME of you anyways I tried restore but no files appeared... And also I created a new account.. Is that the problem? Cos I can't get to the original account...
