My English Media Coursework :3

I did this for my friend Ryan's English Media Coursework where he had to design a poster or something like that advertising an aftershave brand he made (I put his brand '100' on the bottle)
I made everything in it except from Daniel Craig obviously :P
If you look carefully you will notice I've added a nice touch of brush strokes on him

You know, it looks like something that would look good if done correctly like make the guy fit on the background make the bottle more noticeable and change the colors maybe an exposure Layer and playing around with the settings would have made it better
I'm assuming you made the floral pattern in the background and that looks pretty good

Yeah thanks

I'm not great at Photoshop but I really do think I've done well

My friend that I made it for told me that his teacher really thought it was an A grade piece of work

Here are your problems.

Your focal doesn't blend to begin with,
and adding that shadow didn't help the issue.

Your overall composition is just..bad.
I can't put it any lighter then that sorry.

I have no idea what that blue thing is..
Is it a lighter...is it a flask..no clue..

It's just kinda floating there, and this was what I meant by bad composition.
The background is not good for this..not so much the color, but the pattern itself.

Really the only thing that isn't half bad is the text.
Cept' that backwards E is kind of annoying.
I know it's harsh critque, but thats really how I do it.
Keep it up, and just practice more.

Figured out what the blue thing was, cologne.

You said you made the background yourself and then you say im not that good at photoshop. Well since your background is full of flowerish brushes / vectors i think it isnt made by yourself because that kind of background is mostly done in illustrator. but well keep tryin.
