Just because he doesn't have mounds of 3D models or effects doesn't mean it's not complex.
Most people, upon seeing a photo manip are like "HURR DURR YOU TOOK THESE THREE PICTURES AND PUT THEM TOGETHER HURR."
This one is more of a scene or environment in my eyes, which is just as hard to create, if not harder, from scratch materials (hence the photo manip reference).

Thank you..that's pretty much it.
I wasn't really trying to go nuts with c4d's or premade effects, because I've grown bored of doing it to be honest. I did use a few different stocks to compile the bg,
and there was plenty of manipulation done to them,
mostly accent stuff, and color tweaking and lighting.
The majority of why this didn't turn out to be anything great is because I need to master adjustment layers. I'm getting closer..but still have a lot of experimenting to do before I nail it.

I agree. C4D's can easily be overused. game4evere, you might want to work on your signatures a bit before claiming something to be overly simple.
