Hello BF3 fans out there, i'm bringing you some exciting news about an upcoming BF3 multiplayer gameplay with JETS!!!

Although it didn't make its way to Cologne under its own steam, this fighter jet Mig 21 will surely be one of the main attractions on this year's Gamescom. DICE is using this aeroplane to promote its latest game. According to their statement, they managed to have the jet transported from Berlin to Cologne for a mere 5 digit amount - on an articulated lorry.

The wings will be attached tomorrow. This fighter jet will be available to the public from 18th August to 21th August. Day tickets can be pre-ordered for 10€.

With only a week and a few days until Gamescom 2011 kicks off in Cologne, Germany, footage is already starting to show up. Taken from the German RTL news outlet, here is a video showing a Mig 21 being unloaded for the Battlefield 3 booth at the convention centre. The community asked for jet footage and now DICE has gone the next step with showing jet footage and an actual jet to spruce up the booth. Next week is going to be what we’ve all been waiting for. Conquest mode and jets. Props to KGN for tracking the video down.

We will see a new multiplayer trailer on August 16th, possibly conquest mode with jets, the BF3 GamesCom booth is on the 18th untill the 20th i think.

Patrick Batch said the maps will be huge so i don't think that will be a big problem, i hope there aren't too many anti-air heavy weapons like in BF2 or BF P4F, seriously each time you get off the base you get instantly killed by the heat tracking missiles...

Well seeing the developer's stress on balance, I think it'd take a couple rockets to shoot down a jet.
