I'm in New York, and I did feel shaking but almost nobody but me noticed it. I was barefoot in my home, and I did feel the floor shaking, but one could barely feel it. So much for an after shock. You couldn't even see objects shaking either, I just felt the floor shake a bit, ever so slightly.
