i went through all the steps, and i have a dynamic ip. I get to the part of the main\iw_22 error: when i delete the registry value, and open mw2 again, it says im still banned.

Did you check with the XUID program that your XUID has really changed?
If not please try to get it from somewhere or wait until I'll get a running link for it.

If you see you've done the steps and your XUID hasn't changed, you've must have missed something in (-1) step.

If you're still sure that there's no problem with what you did, please contact me personally..

Thanks this method is working for an new XUID, although I have to change my IP also as you said which I'm unable to do now (I have Dynamic IP) as soon my dad wakes up, he's a sleep on the couch and my Modem is byhind the couch I don't wanna wake him ip I'll change my IP and do this method again for another XUID delete the thing from the Register and then try to play!

Try batfitch XUID spoofer. You can also do it via the registry.

11. Now this is the tricky part - You need to find the registry of that specified modified network adapter. To find it, go through all the 00** tabs you find there, and look at a Value named "DriverDesc". Find the one with the same name as the network adapter from 2.0

i cant remember what was the network adapter from 2.0
i used print screen but i think it glitched '--

@Max Damage : while you're at that, can't you at least move the offsets around the next build so that these old hacks won't work? Getting tired of hackers in my lobby.

If you delete the part of the registry, you delete the hexcode you just entered and you have again same xuid.

That new value isn't reloaded until the NIC is restarted, which is normally your next computer restart. So your XUID remains changed until next restart.
