lol after the movie was made people actually thought that they killed her....and all the animal deaths were real.
and the thing was is that they all signed a contract saying that they couldn't go out into the media for one year so when this happened nobody could back up the director story so everybody thought that he actually killed her...now thats fucked up..

All Lars von Trier's movies, I have watched most of them and they are all weird as shit.
Melancholia and Antichrist are probably the most famous ones, but definitely not the most weird ones... Some of his Danish Movies are even more weird.
One of his movies is a 2 hour movie that takes place in a black room with most of the objects drawn on the floor. The only real objects are the ones they interact with. The actors don't say much either. That one is very, very bad.
He have even said that he supports the Nazis on the Cannes Film Festival.
What can I say? I understand Hitler, but I think he did some wrong things, yes, absolutely. ... He's not what you would call a good guy, but I understand much about him, and I sympathize with him a little bit. But come on, I'm not for the Second World War, and I'm not against Jews. ... I am of course very much for Jews, no not too much, because Israel is pain in the ass, but still how can I get out of this sentence. ...

Nachos, you do know that he officially apologized for the Nazi stuff that got him kicked out of Cannes, right? It was supposedly his sick idea of a joke or something. And yeah, he's got shitfucktons of awesome movies, though for the most part Antichrist is probably the one closest to what most people perceive to be a "normal" movie. Goddamn Hollywood. I actually liked Melancholia because of the whole Wagner + German Romanticism degeneration or w/e, but I would hardly label it as "fucked up", it's actually closer to his earlier works when he toyed around with love and shit
