It depends on what you're doing. For games and such, not so much, but for 3D modelling software and high res video editing, yes.

Bought 1.3k watt power supply.

Buys a 1.3K watt power supply.
Doesn't use more than 800.

Ivy Bridge 3770k CPU is what you want with the z77 Motherboard (2600k/2700k will work but it's limited)

@OP wait at least a week or two for Ivy Bridge to be formally released on the 23rd.

Also might wanna consider going with a set of Mushkin 994046 CL8 memory, it has a good balance of low latency with good enough speed.

Also perhaps you should've done more research instead of buying everything that was at the top of the list. Now you have to wait for return shipping.
