Black Ops 2 worth your $.

Played it for a bit on my laptop. Not bad I must say. Vast improvement upon MW3. I will say that some of the maps feel disorganised. I prefer my maps to be asymmetrical where one side of the map promotes a different style of play than the other side, and some of the maps feel like they got one portion and copy pasted it around the rest of the map so you end up with some sort of square pizza map with little variation. And for small clusterfuck maps I like them symmetrical (like Hijack).

I like the create a class and the guns feel ok, but it still feels like I'm shooting a toy. And the hitboxes are still god awful.

Haven't been able to get zombies working on my laptop, and haven't tried out the campaign.

Oh and the graphics are actually not that bad compared to the trailers. Really nice colours and lighting. Textures are nice on the guns, but still polygon as fuck.

For multiplayer I'd give it about 7.5/10.

WaW: 8/10
MW2: 8/10 (9/10 for aIW version)

I am a huge disliker of the CoD series (I loved CoD 4 and CoD WaW, but then it got shit), but I gotta tell you.

Black Ops 2 is a totally new one for me. I just love it, they actually implemented new stuff, and the guns sound cool too, IMO.


Best thing I like is the customization! you can actually have CUSTOM classes now, decide if you have 1 or 2 perks of the same kind, and decide if you have a secondary or not, etc.

It's full of new features, and so far I've actually been enjoying it very much!

Sure, It'll get boring after a while, that's my guess, but, Ive played 20 games now and it's defintley worth the money. I threw MW3 'in the trash can' after 4 rounds.


And a huge plus,

ZOMBIES!

They've added so much more to zombies, it's extremely fun

I don't think it's exactly hard, it's just done in a way to promote objective play. If it's TDM or FFA then it's basically a killstreak but for Domination and SnD it's very much a point streak. I think it's good the way they've done it.

Quite easy when playing the objective, when capturing something for example you have 200 points instead of 100 for a kill

Or by playing demolition, planting the C4 is 200 and when it explodes is it 300. So earning these streaks is easy.

Also capturing a Hardpoint gives you 200 points, getting a kill on the Hardpoint 125!

well you haven't played 1,000 hours plus on black ops 1 like i have to notice the difference. everything is the same, even the gun and its animations.

The only reason I'd get it would be for the Campaign and Zombies. Multiplayer is generally the same. Despite some different eye candy and weapons, it's ALMOST the same. And I never liked the feel of futuristic weapons / warfare. I've always been more fond of modern combat rather than older or futuristic fighting.
