Ah, I've come to an awkward place.

So new manager joins a week ago, she's pregnant.(not particularly attractive to begin with, but a nice person.).


Today her fiance/boyfriend just dumped her because he didn't want to have the child.(lol).

Anyway, all week me and her have been chatting as we both enjoy the same things and during work we have nothing else to do at certain points of the day. So when her boyfriend dumped her, me and my other co-worker tried to cheer her up a bit.

Bad move on my part. I got into the "friendly" zone, you know, the one close to the "asking her out" zone?(not to be confused with the "friendzone"). Now i like this chick as a PERSON, but not in any romantic way.

So on went the night, thanks to my other(annoying hyper co-worker) we got even more close the "asking her out" zone.(god i hate hyper chicks).

And then I made another bad move, I gave her my number "to text".(mainly because its very awkward to refuse anyone your number when you are in a friendly position).

So here I am, receiving text and its so damn awkward.

Just ignore the texts. That's what I do when I receive a text from someone I don't like. Do it enough and they will eventually catch the drift and stop texting you

Try ignoring her a little, but not completely. Just go back to being friends only if thats what you want. Or just ignore her completely

Just talk to her, if she's showing you signs on wanting to develop further, then explain to her that you don't want too. It's a lot less drama than having her confront you why you're ignoring her ><
