Questions about compatibility of certain parts/in general.

So, recently I've searched for parts to build my new gaming desktop, but a few friends of mine warned me to make sure the parts were compatible.
But I don't really know wich factor makes parts (non-)compatible, so that's my question to you
How do I know wether parts are compatible or not ?

It's from overclockers, a pretty usefull site for UK/EU users.

Your build look good. As long as that motherboard support your CPU socket and RAM's clock speed then you are good to go. Btw what's computer case?

I'm getting one from my friend. Can't remember the model, but I've looked it up once, and it's like a High End Tower Case, or whatever that's called.

Of course it won't work. There isn't a PSU.

And those two should be a big deal regarding compatibility ?

You motherboard has been discontinued and for your ram, I dont know why you bothered with that. You can pick up a G.Skill kit for cheaper, and better.

you're going to want a z77 motherboard, they have more stuff.
