Why did this happen?

Well, about 2 nights ago I had a dream that my grandpa was driving me back home and on the way there he had stopped the car and and said that his heart transplant had failed and started gripping his chest, as he fell I yelled at him trying to see if he was okay, once I saw he wasn't moving I ran as fast as I could to a house that had it's garage open. Sadly, I wasn't able to reach the house due to the fact that my alarm clock woke me up before I could get to it. i told my mom this when I woke up since it was the first time I ever had a dream like this, she just said OK. This morning I woke up and my mom was gone and there was a different care lady working, I knew this was my mom's workday so I thought "why is she gone?" My brother called me a few minutes after that and said they were at the hospital and that my grandpa had a heart attack while I was sleeping and there waiting to hear what happened to him and if he is going to be ok. I called my mom after that and she was crying because she didn't want to lose her dad. I can't even imagine how my grandma feels...

The only question I have is " Why was I given this dream? Why not anybody else?" My hands are trembling right now, this is the first time something like this has happened to me, my family do have these kind of dreams that come true but it's my first time and I can't handle it...

P.s. if you don't think this is true I can take a picture of him in his hospital bed if I get to go see him later today..

Well obviously you cannot see in the future.
You probably had that dream relating to events you already knew, but you don't know you knew this events.
It's like when ppl thing they have de ja vu. Quite often they don't, but when they think back to the dream they think that the dreamed about the present moment when they never. Not like I'm an expert. Maybe you're the me t addition to the avengers.
