How many slots for ram is there in the comp that you set up? B/c even tho it has a good cpu/gpu you cant just give a vm like 256mb :/

I'm sorry but with new engines and GPU's ( which equates to new capabilities) this won't be very future proof.
You can't expect something insane from $500, sorry. However it will tackle your games smoothly and may have a dip in fps on a couple of games.

with 500$ you won't even be able to play the newest games on max but on medium-low
with a 1k$ pc you will be able to play on max every game for 3 years max
