So this is my pet (i think I'll call him tiny)
In this guide I'll show you how to get any creature in the game as a pet.
Step 1: Open cheat engine (if you don't have it i'm sure you know how to use a search engine).
Step 2: open the processor list.
Step 3: select "window list", locate and select "Cube", and the press "open".
Step 4: Get a stack of items and search for the amount that's in the stack.
Note: For this guide i will be using bombs to start with however any item stack will do.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The pet replaces this stack so don't use anything you wish to keep.
Step 5: once you've narrowed it down to a couple addresses you can go down the list to test which is the right code.
Step 6: Now that you have found the right address right click on it and select "Browse this memory region" .
Step 7: In the memory viewer window, go to "tools" and select "Dissect data/structure".
Step 8: In the structure dissect window, go to "structures" and select "define new structure".
Note: just use all the defaults for what it asks you.
Step 9: Move your stack of items one slot to the right, then scroll down the list until you find a number matching the amount in your stack.
Note: in this image the "2000" is how many of the item is in that slot, the "1793" is the ID of the item in the slot in this case bombs, and the "1" at the bottom the the red box is the power of the item in example if you have a weapon and change that number to 100 it will make it stronger.
Step 10: change the first number to 1 (don't want 2000 of the same pet) and change the second number to 19 (the first pet, this will be useful later).
Step 11: add the two important values to your address list by either selecting them and pressing "A" or selecting them then right clicking and select "Add to address list".
Step 12: Go back to your address list and right click the address that's set to "19" (the item ID number) and select "Set/change hotkeys".
Step 13: make a hotkey; the button to press is up to you ( i like to use the "numpad +" key), set it to "increase value with:", and set the value to 256.
Note: You might want to make the same hotkey but with "decrease value with:" in case you pass a pet.
Now you can sit in-game with you mouse over the pet box and when you press the hotkeyed button it will cycle through the pet boxes.
Note: the pet in the first picture is number "28691".
