remake of sotw

this is a remake of the sotw sig i made reduced the messyness (still messy that was sort of the theme) hope its a little bit better.




a slightyl more depthed version its not that great but i think it adds a bit of depth let me know what you think

You got your head twisted. It's very vivid and eyepopping i seriously wasn't expecting it, a c4d would make it look crowded, pentooling really wouldn't go with the flow? He's done a good job of smudging. Tone the mess down a little bit, and it would be good, but i still like it, sometimes this messy kind of style can be nice. Best SOTW entry ive seen so far

Edit: My friend, add some more depth, some depth tips, take the blur tool put it on 10 or something and blur the sides, then after that as you get closer to the render gradually move it down to like 5 then to 2 then when you reach the focal leave the things around it sharp. iF that becomes too blurry start at 5. or you can slightly burn the things around the focal with a low exposure.

nope that aint complex thats called messy compiling!!! he just kept brushing and brushing ontop then playing around with smudge and then lighting, etc its messy!! the black behind text has nothing to do with sign doesnt fit in thats what i mean

Well if your new to gfx and have been doing it for only 3 weeks heres somethigns i'd like to say.

1. There is no certain way to make a sig. Everyone has different styles different tastes, and if your just machining sigs then trust me they'll end up looking like shet

2. When you're giving C&C (Which we appreciate) Think about your C&C first, dont just type anything randomly , cause some of that stuff up there you said didn't have anything to do with the style or flow of the sig.

3. For some Gfx artists, when they see someone talk down to their work when they're more experienced / better than you, trust me they'll flip out.

thanx i got a reply hurray! Anyway I know it's not the best of depthing but I had to do something fast and ivde been making sigs just to figure out depth and make it seem natural I'm getting there anyway thanx again and the yellow particles aren't brushed they are c4d's erased to form specs was gonna make it multi color but it didn't fit the color theme LOL ty again for the CNc and fast depth tut supB

@ Illum It has got nice depth and the effects are pretty sick. The text is not my cup of tea but i like the style of it. Compliments the rest of the tag. I think lighting could be better but it's no biggie. So good work. Kicks the crap out of my entry


And guys please keep the language within reason. No critisism should be taken too seriously. At the end of the day it's someone's oppinion so don't get hung up on it. With art there is no right and wrong so what someone says is not fact. cpepablito is entitled to his opinion and he's trying to help.
