Rofl, he is a complete idiot. vBulletin passwords are all hashed with SHA1 Encryption. Its unhashable, he cannot "crack" it as he so conviently said, but only reset it. Or compare it with other SHA1 Encrypted strings and compare them to see whether or not it matches.
