What happened to what used to be an ever expanding community?

This box that we spend hours, hours, and hours in isn't even getting bigger anymore. I joined because of the community and because I knew I could learn, I knew that no matter who disagreed with me, that whatever I input, someone out there would benefit from it. Someone would find an answer to that question and I would be that answer, an answer of which creates this spark in the heads of others which in turn create a vision that they can do whatever they want. These boundaries in games called rules are only being broken because people are putting hours and hours into projects which allow you to do things which you never thought would be possible.

And I'm saying this intending no offence at all. Years after years users are poring into this forum, a box of sorts which needs to get bigger because people are actually poring out the cracks. There is so much potential for this forum other than what it is being used for right now. Expansion is no longer necessary but completely required if moving forward is what is being aimed for here. This isn't a forum anymore, this is the largest group of people that I have ever simultaneously connected with before in my life which are patiently waiting in this box, expecting it to get bigger but it won't unless someone actually looks past what most people find irrelevant or impossible. I don't know about anyone else here, but I didn't contribute because it gave me a neat yellow banner. I contributed because I knew that somehow or somewhere, that money would be implemented into making MPGH a more improved site than it was before that money was contributed.

This place is in need of change or an expansion. I'm not sure how many of you agree with me but I see this site going places, and unless we pick up out feet, all that will happen is this box will get smaller, and smaller. I see people getting ridiculed left and right, people who are of higher stature, people who you would expect more from than the average hello or goodbye. Respect isn't even close to being related to who you are as a person anymore, I see people especially minions cursing, flaming, and doing things that you would never expect to hear from such people. People who have actually put the time in to earn respect or a status, and to in turn be nothing else but a wall for someone to punch. I miss what used to be an amazing community which valued eachother as equals. Now wherever I go, it's either me or the guy next to me getting whored upon for no reason other than to 'troll'.

I honestly believe that MPGH is capable of reaching more users than it currently is. Does anyone else agree at all?
