I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that it came out in 2008 and if you list it as a "childhood anime" you're still pretty young

For real? I didnt watch it but heard its kinda a weird anime, because of the story inflexibility. Not sure about it though, I never bothered to watch it.

Yes for real. One of the first few animes I've watched. I did enjoy it, but it wasn't superb.

I watched Zoids. But imo only the first one with liger was worth it.

Great "mecha" show though, very well done.

What? Seriously? Zoids (I believe) was like #7 in the top watched shows on Toonami back then. But that's because there were much better shows airing at the time such as: (2001) Gundam Wing, Batman: Animated Series, Sailor Moon. Then in 2002 it was less popular because it had even better competitors: Outlaw Star, The Big O, Mobile Suit Gundam, Dragon Ball, Batman Beyond, etc.
