Graphics card Comparison 270x vs 760

So I'm sort of stuck here.

Now, I prefer Nvidia cards over AMD cards but There's a bigger variety of AMD cards out there

I'm building a gold/yellow themed pc and so I want a yellow gpu which I can't find in a 760 (Only an MSI Hawk)

So, which one would be best for the money?
    Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Toxic Boost 2GB [VCS-R9270X-TOX] - $299.00 : PC Case Gear

    OR

    MSI GeForce GTX760 Hawk, 2GB [N760 HAWK] - $369.00 - Scorptec Computers

I really like the look of the Sapphire one.
I have a Gigabyte GTX 760 oc in my current system but am looking for a change in the new system

    HWCompare isn't that good.
It's only specifications, no real applications.
From what I see from this benchmark, 760 is better but it's not worth the extra 70 dollars.

Oh sweet thanks, I watched a vid comparing them with benchmarks, the 270x was always close or in some cases better than the 760 so I think I'll get a 270x

    $370 for a 760, and it's not even a 4GB?
You can find them for $230, hell one of the best 760's on the market, the MSI N760 TF is only $260.

I know the Hawk overclocks fantastically, but it'd be far and beyond a better choice to just go for a 770.

Scratch that, fucking Australian prices, 270x is the best deal.

I suppose, but you have to take into account Nvidia Shadowplay, which takes literally almost zero frames while recording gameplay, if that should even interest the OP.

How much is a 770 in the US? Maybe I'll just get someone to ship it too me depending on postage cost because you're right, everything PC related is over priced here

This is exactly the reason I love my 760, shadowplay is great!

But they make most parts in Taiwan or China... so technically it should be cheaper here

That's because big businesses like Newegg, NCIX, and Tiger Direct always use very quick, premium shipping with delivery confirmation. It would only cost about $25 for an average person to ship.

The Australian government bumps up shipping costs based upon their value, therefore electronics distributers have to jack the price way the hell up to compensate.
