The last patch has messed the game up pretty bad. What happens is you get into a game and literallly within 10 -30 seconds the game completely freezes. At this point you have to either shut it with the task manager, A program like IOBit Process Manager, Or you need to completely reboot/power down your PC. I do not know how this bug occurs on consoles but I am just going to assume that they need to shut their console off.

I thought that I had solved this after creating a User.cfg file in Battlefield 4's installation directory and putting in commands to basically turn off Direct X 11, To say the least yes it helped. I was able to play 3 or 4 games without the freezing issue occuring. However soon as the map switched to Operation Locker it happened instantly. I went right back to the same server that was still playing Operation Locker, Same thing happened again in under 10 seconds this time. This mainly happens on Operation Locker and Metro 2014, But sometimes on other maps. Ill put what I have in my User.cfg below, and if you need my specs or anything else just lemme know. I can not think of anything else to do.

I did try manually updating punkbuster, capping the fps to my moniters refresh rate, and run the game in borderless with vsync OFF.

I think this is a problem that my friend had couple of weeks ago!

Try to "Repair" the game in the controlpanel and see what happens!

Unfortunatlely that does not work either, I certainly wish that it was that easy. I am not running any hacks either, I have too much money in that particular account to risk it.

Contacting support through live chat just depends on the rep you get. Usually they don't have a whole lot of good to tell you. Honestly the most useful information I have got so far is from the forums on Battlelog. The problem is that so many people are having this particular issue but most of them still haven't found any solutions or at the very least temporary solutions. So that why I thought I would see if you guys knew anything about it or had any suggestions.

Apparantly DICE is back on the issue, And they are working on it. So I am just going to wait for them to hopefully release a patch to fix it. So you guys can go ahead and close this.

Hi, was there a fix found for this yet? I was just wondering if anyone ever did find one.
