I actually find the simplicity quite nice.

The buttons look mint, but I think you should lower the shadows just a little bit. But I don't quite catch background, it's just something about the text that puts me off.

Well... You can add like a hyper link kinda thing on the text or you can upload a small image that they can click and kinda looks like a button and you click it and it goes to the link
